The Encyclopedia of Ancient Greek Language and Linguistics (EAGLL) is a new dictionary from Brill which assembles the most recent research from multiple disciplines such that the language of Ancient Greek is approached from many areas of interest, including its history and structure but also “schools of thought, technical meta-language, sociolinguistic issues, dialects, didactics, translation practices, generic issues, Greek in relation to other languages”.  It deploys also phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, lexicon, semantics, stylistics, as tools to analyse the language.
