The acclaimed PhilPapers index and bibliography for the study of philosophy is now available in full for the University of Cambridge. Formerly PhilPapers was entirely open access to the world, but it now requires support from the academic community for its continuation. The University of Cambridge is pleased to join with other higher education institutions to support the PhilPapers Foundation via its new subscription model and will benefit from the unimpeded access to the full content of the resource hereafter. More detail about this development at PhilPapers is described in the site’s news section.
PhilPapers can be found via the eresources@cambridge A-Z list or directly here.
PhilPapers is more than simply an abstracting and indexing service in philosophy, though that role has earned it a premier position in the field. In addition, it hosts an open access archive for the deposit of papers in philosophy; it provides a content alerting service and an online community. Its structured bibliography for the study of philosophy can be consulted at this link.
