Back in 2013, you may remember from our previous blog post, the University Library and the POLIS department purchased a subscription to the Digital National Security Archive (DNSA).
The DNSA offers one of the most valuable collections of declassified US government documentation – it offers access to incredible primary source material across a huge range of topics. Since it’s purchase in 2013 the archive has grown to over 104,000 individual documents held within 44 collections.
The new collections available include:
- The Kissinger Conversations, Supplement: A Verbatim Record of U.S. Diplomacy, 1969–1977
- Electronic Surveillance and the National Security Agency: From Shamrock to Snowden
- Mexico-United States Counternarcotics Policy, 1969-2013
- Presidential Directives on National Security, Part II: From Truman to George W. Bush
